From Chris Wright: I had the privilege of growing up riding round in my dads bmw 3.0 csl HJG 7L. it is my fondest car memories travelling to watch rac rally’s etc in it unfortunately as a daily driver it hit disrepair as a daily for best part of 15 years. We had to sell her instead of her coming to me as we’d never afford the restoration . I tried to keep track of the purchaser but failed I hope she is being restored well . 

CSL was pretty much a daily till circa 2002 (4/5 years before selling). I know the guy who I sold it to will restore it.
