History

This BMW E9 3.0 CSL was the only one delivered new by BMW Hong Kong dealer in 1973. The car remained a single owner car till 2018 with full history known and accompanied with BMW Dealer Service records for the past 40+ years. Chrome work remains bright with no pitting.

Equipment: original 'City package' cars it has the factory fitted chrome bumpers, softer sports suspension and electric windows.

Modifications:  the seats in this particular car was upgraded to a set of BMW Leather seats and the wood trim were restored by a master craftsman using solid mahogany. There is a set of gauges neatly fitted into the wood trim making it a more sporty appearance. The steering wheel is a Momo Sport unit with nice patina. BBS rims.

Maintenance: the record shows that the car had an exchanged engine at BMW in 2008. Otherwise, it has excellent service history and regular work, the engine is in great condition, starting on the button while settling down to a smooth idle. .

All suspension components have been renewed with new shocks, ball joints and rubber bushes contributing to a tight and responsive drive as if it were new back in 1973.
