Title:
  •  Registered YX12. It still has this number in 2018
  • However there is a picture of it with the Reg no YU13! Vernon Balls used to put any number on the cars in order to be able to drive them to Brooklands!!

Engine: 90025

History:

In 1928, Vernon Balls ordered this offset C6 from the factory to race at Brooklands, but when it arrived he found he needed the money, so it it was sold.
It was also raced by Miss Maconochie
Later in its life, it was campaigned by Elenken Widengren and converted into the teardropshaped car, at Montlhery , where it broke the international speed records for 1100cc cars (hour record?).
Later campaigned by Courtney and Pat Green, it went to the late Nigel Moores and has not been seen for many a year.

In 2018 the Amilcar is being rebuilt.
